MacGyver will become famous soon enough
Everything is 100% go for this still, with plans for everyone to meet up around mid-day at the site, and Trever from BXR cars will come down shortly after.

Also, if anyone needs them, just before (if coming from Belfast) and just after (if coming from Bangor direction) on the dual carriage way you will be travelling on (the A2 main bangor road its called), theres a pair of petrol stations with jet wash / car wash facilities.

If coming FROM Belfast its a BP about a mile before the mueseum and if going from Bangor (and passing the turn off to the Museum) its a Shell again, about a mile after the museum.

Heres a google map link.

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&so...,41.95,,0,3.49

Should anyone need me, I will have my old mobile on that day with my old number, 07845607178 is the number (447845607178 if your from ROI), and I will be reachable on it from about 10am on the Sunday but im binning the sim after that day anyways.

Looking forward to seing you all there!

Fantastic turnout all round, was great seing everything from MGB's, to P5/p6s to modern stuff like SD1's and 600/800's and of course ZT/75's.

Everyone was really friendly and great. Photos will follow whenever my mate Mark sends me them over next few days, so i can photoshop everyones number plates and such out.

Trever and Glen from BXR cars came down (and Trev's wife also!), to provide free T4 support on the day and offer advice to everyone who turned up, not just 75s/zts. So a great turnout all round and a massive amount of thanks to them for making the effert, and only just left around 3.50pm after being there from 12.

The classic rover club also brought along a bundle of cars and where great to sit and chat with on the day, a few people even just turned up randomly when the word spread which was nice! I genuinely lost count of how many cars where there, must have been easily 25 at one stage.

Great turnout, even if my ending on the way home was a tad expensive with my cam shaft seals coming loose, so will be heading to BXR cars asap to get her sorted as she cant be driven until fixed!!

If anyone has any photos throw them up until i get the rest sorted.

Really good meet, fantastic cars and really nice people! Was expecting at least one 25 and ZR to make an appearance but it wasn't to be. The 200 brm was simply stunning!

Shall get my pictures posted up tomorrow.

Thanks!

Hi Gareth, it was nice to meet you and your girlfriend/fiancée/wife at the meet.

I was surprised there wasn't any 25's or ZR's either as I know one of the other meets I was at a couple of years ago the ZR's turned up in their hundreds (slight over exaggeration).

Oh dear, was it because of the slightly small lettering? I know their clamping down on that, did you get a fine or anything?

I have just posted the pictures above this post and I never blanked out the reg plates, can't see it being a problem (hope not anyway).

Kris.
Those older cars are an absolute credit to the owners , immaculate they are .

Those 3.5s would be great to drive , i can see our 75/zts taking pride of place one day just as those old timers did at your meet , congratulations all you lads well done .

Well everyone, ive created a free for all Facebook group with some of the photos that kris has taken, ive a LOAD more coming this week when i get back to work as the cars still getting sorted.

In the mean time, everyone can see them here, leave comments, and maybe centralise a tiny bit, so its easier to keep track of everyone!

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=147988158548390

Please note, this in not a club or anything like that, just somewhere I will gather up all the photos of the event (and future events) together!
