the earlier cars had a sensor plug in the side of the rad but I think this should have been deleted on yours going by the age ? could be a relay ?

Unplugging the cts sensor on the thermostat should definitely see the fan kicking straight in so somethings awry somewhere , andy

DON'T SELL IT !!!!!

All the work you've done so far......

Get the work done on it. Get the welding done by a pro, the rest you can do your self if you have a bit of mechanical know-how.

I'll help if I you need any....

You'll regret it in a few months.

They are one hell of a car to drive

If you're thinking of moving camps, you're in the same situation as me - my 620ti has just been costing too much to run.

I've got an MG ZS diesel, and it's quite possibly (after the Ti) the most fun car I've ever had. Running about 150bhp with a full stainless exhaust, doesn't sound bad either!

Take a mooch at them, they're pretty good for the cash these days.

I also buy, sell and repair laptops of all ages and specification. Got an old one kicking around? Could be worth more than you think in cash! Pentium 4 laptops for sale for under £100.

hurry up with the Vitesse!

The R-Reg 420 (petrol) we had was the most uncomfortable car we ever owned!

The footwells in the back have different levels, and the seats tip you the opposite way to them! London and back in the 420 was the most painful trip we ever went on. Within weeks of buying the R-Reg 420, we had put it back up for sale!

Luckily we bought it while we still had our old MK1 400, so we kept that instead for many years.

but yours was cheap, and it's a means to an end, so enjoy!

(just don't travel in the back (ache) of it!)
