Fix potholes!? What a silly notion. The streets are so bad here, there are places where the top layer has peeled back to reveal the road that was underneath. Since the snow, a further layer has been peeled back and it basically looks like cobbles under there.

I was in portugal a month ago, and the roads are SO smooth by comparison.

only if its raining! its only cross the road walking as i can cut through a walkway and then thru a fence to the bus stop which then goes to the airport.

and when i drive i have to drive all the way round and park in the staff car park which isnt right next tot he airport so i still have to get on a bus.

so what i should have said is i live across the road from the bus stop which i HAVE to get to get to the airport unless i walk all the way to the airport lol (only 30mins)

lol couldn't its stuck at my nans house (thats where it is in the pic)

clutch pedal is broke so i'm either buying a new peddle or repairing the existing one in the next few days! some spot welds gave way and the plate that pushes the rod into the master cylinder has come off so i can just weld the little plate back on, not too difficult! dunno how they thought a few spot welds would last very long? mind you it lasted 13 years lol bloody germans!

i could drive it home without the clutch as its not far at all 3min drive at most! but might aswell leave it there so took a pic and left!

See, wouldn't get that with a british built car! Oh hang on..

How do you find driving it with it being so low? I overtook some muppet in an astra the other day that had to drive at 0.2mph over ever speed bump Tool.com!

just try to avoid speedbumps... i know where they all are in luton so i just go round. but if i have to go over them like you say i have to creep over them but i normally pull over before hand let any1 behind past first cos some people do get ****** off and dont understand why your doing it.

but i like to give it some beans obv and on normal roads without speedbumps i can do that no prob! handling is a damn site better than standard thats for sure! was very poor handling standard if im honest!

I did actually! Was nice to see something not so bias against the british sports cars for a change. Sad to see the old TVR factory in such a state though, always had a soft spot for TVR's. Never that well made, but i'd have a 5litre RV8 engined one anyday, Griffith 500?
