Mackem67 is up and running. Hey we all have to start somewhere.
Wanabee ZR

Hi

Looking for advice please!

Thinking about getting a ZR ... heard head gasket is one to look out for. Around what mileage should it be replaced at?

Thanx

Welcome to .org

Unfortunately, there is not a set mileage for them to be replaced, the gasket will either go or it wont.

Theres a myth that its arround 60k, mine went on 61k lol !!!

Keep an eye on the coolent and you will be fine, but you could always fit the MLS gasket before it goes like i'm doing on my MGF !!!
