Cars CONSTRUCTED before 1 January 1973 are exempt. After that it's tax time.

dont hold your breath though, if it does happen it will reduce the tax revenue ever so slightly and with our currant austerity measures at the moment i think it will be likely

Right Owner is looking to sell :

Series 3 LWB ex Military, 1979 if I remember. 2.25ltr petrol. Fairly Overdrive fitted, salisbury axles, 5 bearing military motor etc etc.

Tax Exempt and Yes it is Legal, before everyone starts huffing and puffing over it, I arranged the paperwork on it 8 years ago.

Currently SORN'd - Not been Used for 2 years, still starts and drives fine.

£1500.00 ovnco !

Based in Warrington.

some of these military machines were given age related numbers when released to civilian life so the reg no reflected age of vehicle. however there was a while when they were giving out numbers relating to the year car was registered for civilian use. and in this case the build date could be 8 years old
