New "Zorst"

Got my new centre pipe today from National Tyre & Exhausts. Dad paid as my folks are over from Italy for 3 weeks and figured it would be cheaper to fix the exhaust then renting a car. £73 all in, but it come with a 2 year warranty

Looked at the state of the old pipe that come off, it was that far gone, that it is was in two pieces on the garage floor

RIP zorst!

Glad to have the car back on the road. Didn't feel safe to drive in all honesty, as the pipe...

Got my door handles back from my mate Simon today...grand job I must say

Also resprayed the 45 mirrors. Just now got to get the drivers side one fixed so we can put them on the car. After finding we a load of paint left over, we decided to paint the foglight covers too.

Odd Ears

Bought myself a pair of 45 Mirrors today for £12 from the breakers. One is in need of repair, so will give it to my partners dad to have a look at, as he is Precision Engineer and is pretty dab handed at the sort of thing.

At least I have a wing mirror for the passenger side now. Once I get my paint back from my friend, I shall colour code them.

Bodywork Restoration Part Deux

Took a trip up the breakers today. Got myself some door handles and bumpstrips. Also got some boot struts as mine were shot...so now the boot stays open.

Also found some Tweaters from a Rover with Electirc mirrors. Was trying to figure out how to cut the stalk back from my manual mirror and some ended up cutting the cable, so the glass wouldn't sit

So have to pick up another tomorrow. That mirror needed a respray anyway, so wasn't to bad. Managed to get the other tweater on...
