Fuel pump relay?

Posted Yesterday at 09:48 by niggbnb
I have a rover 75cdti 2004, pre facelift. I have had an intermittent fault with fuel pumps and have read exensively here. I am sure the problem is fuel pump relay, but how do I find and change the relay? I hear it is hard to get to, but where and how? Any advice much appreciated.

Does anyone know what the Webasto Thermo top does. it is in front of the battery on my 75. it looks like a blower and continues to blow for sometime after switching off, recentely it would not switch off so I have unplugged it, am I doing any damage by doing this ? any help would be appreciated as garages don't want to know.

Car rebuilt and...

...and the theory of high Exhuast manifold pressure has been proven.

Will run the car relatively gently until I can work out a way to fashion something to reduce the pressure by bypassing the turbo.

More to follow as the development gets started!

Water Waiters On Fire - 29-08-10

Posted 30-08-2010 at 20:19 by Polo
After what seemed like another very long lay-off, the Water Waiters finally got their act together to arrange a last minute meet and run around the countryside of Sheffield - JR's 'back yard'.

As Foxxy is still laid up ill in the garage I had to make do with the Jaguar to get me to McDonalds to meet Naomi and Colin, plus Wolfie. It was a non-MG stop as Naomi's MGF had been submitted belatedly for its MOT and failed and was therefore SORNed for the winter giving the Vectra a chance...
